Growing up I had a lot of different thoughts on marriage but I never had to worry if it would ever be legal for me to marry. My brother has had to deal with issue. He currently lives in Minneapolis, MN and if you follow the news you know that Minnesota became the 12th state to legalize gay marriage last week. I was very happy for my brother and this country when this happened so today, for my act of kindness, I took sometime and wrote a note to my brother telling him how happy I was for him that he lives in a state where he can legally marry.
