Day 68: Parking Meter Kindness
There have been a lot of times where I misjudge the amount of time I give myself at a parking meter. I hate that feeling walking back to the car where I know there is a good chance there will be a ticket waiting for me. Even if it has only been a minute or two since the meter has expired it seems like these parking meter enforcers never miss an opportunity to write a ticket. Well today, for my act of kindness, I gave a stranger some extra time and probably saved them from getting a ticket. I was downtown for dinner with my wife and I noticed a meter that had expired. It was about 5:15pm and the meters stop being enforced at 6pm so I put enough money in to cover the 45 minutes.
